Larimax specializes in the design and development of quadrupole mass spectrometers, residual gas analyzers, gas analysis systems and vacuum gauges.

What have we achieved?

When it comes to innovation, then we are out in front. We were the first to introduce a small compact quadrupole with advanced features in 1973, we pioneered the first channelplate detectors for use in mass spectrometers and introduced them in 1976. We were one of the firsts with an advanced computer controlled quadrupole in the early 80's. We were the first with a PC controlled quadrupole in 87. All of these earlier instruments we manufactured under the Spectramass product label.

For 27 years we have been delivering unrivalled innovation and technological developments to those who demand the very highest standards. Our progress has marked the history of Quadrupoles, but it does not end there, the story continues . . . . .

What do we offer today?

Larimax offers excellent value for money, if you are working on a tight budget but still want an RGA that offers performance and specifications only found on more expensive machines then, . . . And what of the future?

Gas Analysis:-

Today our commitment to staying ahead in technology is continuing. The 'Nibtron' source (Unique to Larimax) which no other company can offer will become available on our standard gas analysis systems.

Trace Gas Analysis:-

Our trace analysis systems are already outperforming our nearest rivals with detection levels for organics below 1ppb. With new enhancement probe technology, our lead over our competitors will become even greater. Our future targets are to achieve ppt levels with continuous on-line monitoring.

R.G.A's:-

With the new analyzers under development and the next generation of instruments currently under development using SM electronics will make RGA's much smaller with even further reductions in price.
